Interested in attending one of our shows? No problem! We are situated in Sutton Community Academy in the heart of Sutton-in-Ashfield.

TRAVELLING BY CAR

There are several public car parks close to Cornerstone Theatre. Most operate as pay and display, so please check signage and pay accordingly. Nearby options include:

  • New Street Car Park

  • Market Car Park

  • Sutton Market North Car Park

  • Sutton Community Academy Car Park

There is pay-and-display car parking available just outside Sutton Community Academy in the outdoor market. Please use the postcode NG17 1BW for satellite navigation.

If you're travelling from the M1 (North or South), take Junction 28 for the A38 towards Sutton-in-Ashfield, then follow the A38 signs for Sutton-in-Ashfield Town Centre.

TRAVELLING BY BUS

Most local buses to Sutton-in-Ashfield stop at Sutton-in-Ashfield Bus Station, which is in the town centre. Check local bus operators (e.g., TrentBarton, Stagecoach) for routes.

From the bus station to Cornerstone Theatre:

  • Exit the bus station onto Low Street.

  • Walk approximately 3 minutes (0.3 miles / 450 meters) along Low Street.

  • Cornerstone Theatre will be on the left, inside Sutton Community Academy.

TRAVELLING ON FOOT

From Sutton-in-Ashfield Town Centre:

  • Head southwest on Low Street toward the town centre shops.

  • Walk about 5 minutes (0.3 miles / 450 meters) until you reach Sutton Community Academy.

  • Enter through the main entrance; Cornerstone Theatre signage will guide you to the venue.

Note that the Sutton Community Academy’s gates will be open to the public when there is an event/show happening in Cornerstone Theatre.
